A Glimpse of What We Do

Because we just recently created a blogspot, we wanted to share with you a few glances of what HOW does.  We are still a growing club so we cannot wait for future opportunities!

Free tutoring.  Peer tutoring often creates a more relaxed atmosphere that makes learning less stressful.  Whether a student needs help with a specific subject, such as mathematics, or test preparation, we are available to assist.  

Last April, HOW worked the concessions for the choir department at the annual talent show.  The profits from the concessions benefited the Darfur Dream Team.  To raise awareness for the Darfur Dream Team in the school, we set up a display board with information about the Darfur Dream Team.  Check out this amazing organization at  http://www.darfurdreamteam.org/!
